i am megamind

not in the sense of
diabolical blue genius
with a flair for the dramatic

though i do share that flair

(and remarkably fewer capes)

neither of us know what we want

out of the "best possible outcome"

once he defeated Metro Man

once i came out at work

neither of us knew what to do with

our unexpected total victories

but unlike megamind (at first, at least)

i think i know myself

and we both know

the distinction between
existing
and being seen
